Just add...treats!
You know those times when it's tricky to find that perfect present? That saying "What do you get the person who has everything?"
This was one of the reasons I started to make the pamper hampers for family & friends.
One of the first ones I made was for my youngest son, which I filled with age appropriate toiletries to encourage self care & personal hygiene independence. He loved it! I labelled his box 'Jacob's Smellies Stash' - he thought he was very grown up indeed!
Who says that pampering is just for girls eh? My brother in law was in need of some toiletries and so for his birthday I decided to package the selection up in a little pamper time box.
When my niece turned 19 at the beginning of the year, the only thing she wanted was bath bombs - so guess what I did? That's right, I made her a personalised pamper hamper and filled it with individually wrapped Lush bath bombs - she even mentioned the wrapping on them!
Recently I made one for my cousin's daughter who was celebrating her 11th birthday. It's a strange age I think, not quite a teenager but also not little anymore. I chose a range of face masks, lip balm, body spray even chocolate and a bottle of pop to create a pamper hamper which she would enjoy using and having a girls night in with her mum. It was a hit and I was told afterwards that she wanted to use everything in it all at once! She was very impressed that the box could be re-used too.
This is definitely something I would love but it's not quite the same thing if you make it yourself! I'll have to drop a few hints next Mother's Day.
